Sunil Saxena, MD, PC is a graduate of Motilal Nehru Medical College of Allahabad, India, where he completed his undergraduate studies at University of Allahabad. He completed his residency at Harvard Medical School in Psychiatry. His Fellowship was completed in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, New York Medical College (NYMC).
- He has held many Honors including American Psychiatric Association (ASTRAZENECA Award), American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry outstanding resident award, and Michael Osbourne Awards for Achievement in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYMC.
- Dr Saxena has done many years of research on Mood Disorder and conducted clinical trials. He has been practicing for more than 17 years in New York and Connecticut treating children, adolescents and adults.
- Dr Saxena speaks English and Hindi. He treats a wide range of psychiatric disorders including addiction. His other interests include: natural farming, reducing oxidative stress, microbes, cancer, chronic diseases, superfood and also utilizes holistic approach with evidence-based pharmacological treatment.
